Ben Kern, PGA, TPI – Director of Golf

Ben is an accomplished teacher and tournament player who garnered national attention in 2018 after his victory at the 2018 Texas State Open and his earning of Low Club Professional honors at the 2018 PGA Championship!

Ben enjoys relating what he has learned in 20+ years of competitive golf to up and coming High School and College golfers and advanced students, and takes pride in assisting these players break through to the next level or start shooting under par!

Patrick Peek, PGA – Head Golf Professional

Patrick has been teaching the game for 6 years. Officially started his teaching career at Twin Creeks Country Club with the junior program. Since then Patrick has spent 4 years at Berry Creek Country Club teaching juniors, beginners and all the way to advance golfers. Patrick looks forward to helping the golfing membership here at GCC take their games to the desired level.
Currently Patrick is coaching 2 juniors that have qualified for the US Kids World Championship at Pine Hurst. He is looking to continue to grow this number and help juniors navigate their careers through High School and College. Use link for lesson booking

Sean Mullen, PGA – 1st Assistant Golf Professional

Sean has been teaching the game of golf for 5 years; between Texas and Arizona. He was recognized as the 2019 Player Development Award winner for the Southern Chapter, Southwest Section PGA.

While at Rolling Hills Golf Course (AZ), Sean coached successful programs in PGA Jr League and PING Interclub; winning and qualifying for City and Section Championships in each. He mentored and coached successful junior golfers, as well as helped juniors transition into college golf.

A competitive player himself, Sean was the 2019 Southern Chapter Assistant’s Champion, as well as a participant in the 2019 Gibson Cup.

Sean coaches all ages and ability levels. Whether it’s to shoot a new low score or play the game for the first time, Sean enjoys helping everyone achieve their desired goals! Use link for lesson booking

Lindsey McCurdy

Lindsey has played professional golf on the LPGA Symetra Tour for 4 years. This year, she recorded on T-6 finish on tour and a runner-up finish at the Texas Women’s Open. Prior to her professional career, Lindsey played college golf at SMU. In her time off the course, she enjoys teaching golf and has spent the last 2 years teaching junior golf at The Golf School. Now at GCC, she hopes to work with young golfers who want to learn more about the game and aspire to make it to the next level.
